ice / glace
The transformation of water from liquid to solid, or from solid to liquid, and even better, at a magic phase somewhere in between. Ice spontaneously shapes itself according to its own inherent geometry, responding to environmental conditions in beautiful and surprising ways. The photographer's joy is to engage in a rich conversation with light, shadow, colour, surface, transparency and translucency.
