water / eau
Water - the source of life - is a natural looking glass, and a particularly exciting one. It is elastic and dynamic, yielding an infinity of alternative views of the surroundings. Sun, clouds, haze, twilight, shadows all contribute to the unlimited variety of images possible. Best of all, it is also transparent, allowing glimpses of what's underneath the surface. The photographer is faced with the joy of selecting what to reveal and what to obscure, using depth of field, Polaroid filter, and point of view. I am always striving to push the envelope to discover yet another amazing perspective.
