Canada's "City of Glass" beckons the reflection-catcher, especially the architect photographer. I walk quickly to where the action is, bursting with anticipation. The sun is out! Curtain-walled hi-rises face off one another, immersing the engaged viewer in a magic in-between world of illusion. I focus the lens on an image right before me, but in fact the object is distantly behind me. Deep depth of field mixes up buildings across the street from each other, stirring the space between them into an ambiguity of unexpected power and beauty.
